The KwaJongi Langa Agroecology and Forest Research Centre is a creative space for learning. We are exploring ways to mitigate and remediate the impacts of climate change and land degredation through ecosystem regeneration and community engagement. Healing the water cycle through earthworks and nursery for plants. Establishing a laboratory for academia, social and conservation research, aswell as crop science and outreach education. Using techniques from permaculture, syntropic farming, agroecology. agroforestry, sustainable agriculture, regenerative grazing, ecological design.

The Dog Star

We have a new member of the KJARC family, his name is Star and he is an Africanis mixed breed dog from our local area. Star is almost a year old now and is very well behaved, strong and gentle with the ducks and chickens.
